Win2Win Positive Comments:
This is such a simple program, and yet it is probably the most important pieces of software in my exchange armoury. It is connected to Betfair through the API, so allows refreshes of an astonishing 100ms (10x a second), and records every price/money movement for every horse in the race (or event as you can select any sport from the normal Betfair menu).
You do need Excel to use this, although it may import into OpenOffice (which is free http://www.openoffice.org/ ,worth having anyway).
Once you have it loaded into the spreadsheet you can then manipulate it anyway you want. Use it to pick out backing, laying, hedging, trading, etc, trends. Once you have a good number of races, you will start to see how the markets work in your own time, and this gives you one hell of an advantage over other users.
Win2Win Negative Comments
Not really any problems apart from the fact the Save defaults to the same directory every time you run the software, rather than one you maybe created. It could also do with a timer to stop the recording, as you will occasionally get side tracked and forget to switch it off. That may just be me though!
